We invite you to the final conference of the EO4GEO project "Adapting Earth Observation and Geoinformatics Skills for the Future", which will take place on 17 and 18 May in Brussels. The conference will also be accessible remotely.

 

The EO4GEO project aims to help bridging the skills gap between supply and demand of education and training in the space/ geospatial sector by reinforcing the existing ecosystem and fostering the uptake and integration of space/ geospatial data and services in end-user applications.

 

The event will bring together a broad and diverse range of stakeholders in the field of EO*GI including European institutions (the European Commission, EUSPA, ESA, as well as local and regional ones), with representatives of the private sector and academia and training providers, who will discuss together the current needs and education gaps in the EO*GI sector, what means are put in place to tackle it, and what additional steps and initiatives shall be further undertaken.
